About Marc L. Simmons, CPA

For well over a decade, Marc has been providing personalized, professional tax services to individuals and businesses throughout Utah and the world. Marc graduated cum laude from the University of Utah in 1989 with a B.S. in Accounting. After earning his graduate degree (Masters of Professional Accountancy - Taxation) in 1991, Marc worked for the national accounting firm Price Waterhouse. There, Marc was exposed to several areas of taxation including high net worth individuals, real estate partnerships, corporations and REITs.

An opportunity to become the tax director for Autoliv and organize its tax department piqued his interest in late 1997. During this period, Marc advanced his experience with corporate, expatriate and international taxation. In 2002, Marc started Simmons & Company. Thanks to many loyal friends, professional associates and long-time clients, Marc has successfully developed a broad-based professional income tax practice, Simmons & Company.
